Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right-doing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
– Rumi
Pay attention to what you’re paying attention to.
During our work we will begin to put words to ways in which you feel stuck and ways you’ve been hurt. We will attempt to make meaning out of the moments in your life that have left you confused or wounded. We will work to increase your ability to be more reflective and honest with yourself about your life. Although we can’t change our pasts, it’s possible to make peace with who we are and where we’ve come from–not forgetting our lives, but integrating them into a whole. By working through and honoring your pain, we will help you to accept all of the various parts of yourself that are constantly emerging and developing. My goal is to increase your ability to hold both hope for goodness and acceptance of uncertainty in tension and balance with one another.
